El mes pasado la mujer residente de Pataskala, Ohio, solicitó su cambio de nombre ante las oficinas gubernamentales, llenó el formato y pagó las cuotas correspondientes. En el espacio del formato oficial donde se pide el nuevo nombre, Sheila escribió "Sexy".
Y no se equivocó, Sheila en verdad quiere llamarse "Sexy", pues para sentirse más... sexy, fin.
Finalmente su caso llegó a la Corte, donde un juez escuchó sus argumentos para cambiar de nombre antes de decidir si avalaría su petición. El juez quería una "causa razonable y apropiada" para cambiar el nombre de Sheila a "Sexy".
Luego de preguntar a las hijas de Sheila si no tenían ningún problema con que su madre se llamara "Sexy" y ellas respondieran que no, el juez Robert Hoover sentenció que le "concederían su petición".
Entre sus argumentos, Sheila, ahora "Sexy", declaró que su nombre original era bastante "feo" y la hacía sentir así. Además advirtió que ella siempre usa lencería Victoria Secret y su actitud ha sido muy hot toda la vida, por lo que le pareció lo más adecuado.
Por otro lado, su esposo asegura que el nombre "Sexy" le queda perfecto, pues ella es toda sensualidad y cachondes.
Los requisitos para que Sheila pudiera registrar su cambio de nombre fueron: llenar el formulario, pagar 108 dólares, publicar un anunció en el periódico 30 días antes de su audiencia ante el juez y finalmente asistir a la audiencia y argumentar su petición.
Y no crean que es la única que se ha cambiado el nombre, el mismo tribunal ha reportado unos mil 600 cambios entre 2012 y 2013, no es nada fuera de lo común.
