El famoso director de cine Roman Polanski realizó en Cannes algunas declaraciones antifemenistas provocadoras. “Intentamos igualar los géneros, eso es totalmente idiota”, anunció.
“La píldora ha cambiado mucho a la mujer de nuestro tiempo, la ha masculinizado y hay otros elementos que alejan el romance de nuestras vidas, es una verdadera pena”, lamentó Polanski durante la presentación de la película ‘La Vénus a la fourrure’ (literalmente ‘La Venus con abrigo de piel’), que desarrolla el tema de la dominación y el sexismo.
“Creo que es una pena que regalar flores a un mujer se haya convertido en algo indecente”, lamentó en la rueda de prensa el francopolaco de 79 años, que estaba acompañado por su mujer Emmanuelle Seigner, protagonista de la película.
Cabe recordar que en 1977 Polanski tuvo relaciones sexuales con una menor. Fue acusado de seis delitos, como abuso bajo la influencia de drogas y abuso de menores, pero finalmente fue condenado solo por relaciones sexuales ilegales.
Cuando la Justicia norteamericana le amenazó con nuevas sanciones el director de cine abandonó el país. La Interpol ordenó prohibirle la entrada a 188 países, pero se movía libremente entre Francia y Suiza. En 2010 Polanski fue liberado de su arresto domiciliario después de que el Gobierno suizo se negara a deportarlo a EE.UU.

También están en la lista “La grande bellezza”, del italiano Paolo Sorrentino, una oda mágica y embriagadora a la decadencia de Roma, y “Le passé”, un drama psicológico repleto de tensión del director iraní Asghar Farhadi.
La decisión de Ang Lee, Vidya Balan, Daniel Auteuil, Lynn Ramsay, Christoph Waltz, Naomi Kawase, Nicole Kidman y Cristian Mungiu otorgará el máximo galardón y otros el domingo.
