Jugadores del Bayern de Múnich afirmaron este miércoles que esperan proclamarse campeones de la Copa de Alemania este sábado en Berlín, en la final ante el Stuttgart, para poder ser “inmortales” sellando un histórico ‘triplete’.
Ese título de la Copa alemana ha adquirido una relevancia mayor, después de los recientes éxitos de los bávaros en la Bundesliga y la Liga de Campeones europea.
“Nadie ha estado antes aquí (en este club). Queremos ser inmortales, queremos hacer historia”, dijo el centrocampista Thomas Müller.
“Tenemos que ganar, pero una final siempre es difícil. Tenemos que estar de nuevo motivados. Si perdemos, a nuestra temporada le habrá faltado algo”, señaló por por su parte el francés Franck Ribery.
Ningún equipo alemán ha conseguido hasta el momento el ‘triplete’ de liga alemana, Copa de Europa o Liga de Campeones y Copa de Alemania.
“Este equipo ha entrado ya en los libros de historia, pero puede ser inmortal como el mejor Bayern de todos los tiempos”, declaró el presidente, Karl-Heinz Rummenigge.
